Description
SPL Parts TITANIUM series Tension Rods (TR) provide for adjustment of front caster, allowing you to change front caster to optimize the turn-in response and to compensate for variances between the left and right caster. Low-friction articulating 3/4in FK Spherical Bearings on our Tension Rods eliminate the stock mushy rubber bushing to provide a more responsive steering feel. Offset spacers are designed to give maximum steering angle with increased clearance from the wheel to the tension rod.
Engineered for maximum performance, Large diameter (1 3/8in) Billet 6061-T6 rods are precision CNC machined and gun-drilled to reduce unsprung weight while maintaining high strength and stiffness. Our exclusive 4130 Chromoly Double Adjuster offers wide adjustment range, precise adjustment, and is also CNC gundrilled to reduce weight. Blue Anodized Titanium hardware shaves even more unsprung weight from the arms, without compromising strength.
Custom 3/4in 3 piece FK Bearings Rod Ends manufactured in Connecticut feature a Teflon liner to provide quiet operation, low friction, smooth articulation, and eliminates bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race. The liner offers a very high load carrying capacity and has greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics. The operating temperatures of the liner ranges from -65º to 325ºF, offering robust reliability for both street and track use. Our SPL Parts TITANIUM Tension Rods also feature specially machined mounting holes for our SPL Parts Brake Cooling Deflectors (#SPL TR BD), providing an easy way to improve brake cooling for track events and racing. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
